COMPOSITION COMPRISING MITOCHONDRIAL INHIBITOR FOR PROMOTING DEDIFFERENTIATION AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a composition which promotes dedifferentiation of differentiated cells into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and contains an inhibitor of a mitochondrial function. The present invention further relates to a method for preparing induced pluripotent stem cells which are dedifferentiated from differentiated cells by means of the composition. According to the present invention, the inhibitor of the mitochondrial function may play an inhibitory role on at least one type of complexes selected from the group comprising mitochondria complex I, II, III, IV and V, or can be an electron transporting inhibitor in an electron transport chain.
