<p>The present invention relates to a cyclotron (1), comprising: a winding; a plurality of hill sectors (2) made of a ferromagnetic material, in the air gap of which the magnetic field generated by the winding is directed such as to induce a path of the particles about the axis (X) of the cyclotron, said hill sectors being separated by valleys, the winding extending between at least two hill sectors arranged on either side of a valley, moving closer to the axis of the cyclotron such that according to the axis (V) of said valley, the magnetic field to which the particles are subjected during acceleration in the cyclotron passes from a polarity having the same sign as in the hills to an opposite polarity when the radius increases.</p> |
