The present invention relates to a composite of silk fibroin and polybutylene succinate (PBS) and, more specifically, to a composite of silk fibroin and polybutylene succinate, which has improved storage modulus, bending modulus, and thermaldimensional stability. According to the present invention, the composite is produced by irradiating, onto a bundle of the worm silk fibroin prior to mixing, an electron beam with various absorbed doses ranging from 5 to 100 kGy at a room temperature, and then mixing the polybutylene succinate and the silk fibroin thereafter. According to the present invention, by the method for producing the composite of the silk fibroin and polybutylene succinate via irradiation of the electron beam on the silk fibroin, it is possible to obtain the composite of silk fibroin and polybutylene succinate, which shows improved mechanical and thermal properties. |
