The invention relates to an installation used for studying the transient phenomenon of sudden short-circuit in power transformers. According to the invention, the installation mainly comprises a single-phase magnetic system (1) with a gap, with detachable upper front yoke, a rigid winding (2) which is the primary winding being located on the central column of the magnetic system (1), said rigid winding being made in three interchangeable embodiments, and a secondary winding (3) made of a flexible conductor which is shaped according to a helical path, connected in short circuit by a deformable bridge (3') and hanging from some vertical lateral supports (4 and 4') by means of an adjustable frame (5) and some springs (6, 6', 6", 6'"), the adjustable frame (5) sliding on the vertical supports (4 and 4') where it can be immobilized in a suitable position, by means of some fixing rosette-like buttons (7 and 7'), and the supports (4 and 4') being fixed on a horizontal supporting surface (8) by means of some fastening members (9 and 9'). |
