This utility model relates to the process of producing wine from Ube/Yam (Dioscorea alata) processed following an easy procedure. The preparation involves washing the Ube and slicing it into pieces, boiling the sliced ube for 30- 49 minutes, straining, adding sugar and stirring to dissolve and boiling again for 30 minutes. After cooling, yeast will be added to the mixture and will be fermented for five to seven days; after which it will be transferred in a gallon and will be left to continue fermentation for 30 days. |
