PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To address black irregularity in a screen corner of an IPS type liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: A pixel electrode having a first angle with respect to a y-direction is formed in a first pixel. A pixel electrode of a pixel adjoining vertically or laterally to the first pixel has a second angle with respect to the y-direction, where the first angle and the second angle has the same absolute value and opposite signs. Thereby, rotation directions of a liquid crystal are opposite to each other between adjoining pixels when a voltage is applied to the pixel electrodes. This prevents ions included in the liquid crystal from flowing into a periphery of the display region and prevents black irregularity in a screen corner. |
