PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information service provision system which is easier to introduce and whose accuracy and reliability of the estimated position are high.SOLUTION: The present invention is a position information service provision system for estimating the position of a mobile entity whose position is to be measured in an area in which position measurement is made and providing a position information service based on the estimated position information, said system comprising: power generation information transmission means installed in plurality on the surface or inside of an object present within the area in which position measurement is made, and which generates electricity using the external force imparted thereto by the mobile entity within the area in which position measurement is made and transmits unique ID information by wireless using the generated electricity; and a portable information terminal, carried with or mounted in the mobile entity whose position is to be measured, for providing the mobile entity whose position is to be measured with a position information service based on the estimated position information of the mobile entity whose position is to be measured that is estimated on the basis of the received unique ID information. |
