PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor capable of supporting estimation of surgery simulation results, and further to provide a medical image processing method.SOLUTION: A medical image processor includes: an addition section; an added information storage section; an output section; a detection section; a position alignment processing section; and a display control section. The addition section adds identification marker volume data to region volume data. The added information storage section stores identification information and coordinates information of the identification marker volume data. The output section outputs the region volume data added with the identification marker volume data to a three-dimensional shaping apparatus. The detection section detects model marker volume data from model volume data. The position alignment processing section performs alignment of the volume data of the object body to be inspected and the model volume data. The display control section causes an image obtained by synthesizing an image of the volume data of the object body to be inspected aligned and the model volume data to be displayed.
