An active energy ray-curable pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprising: a urethane (meth)acrylate compound (A) which is obtained by reacting a polyvalent isocyanate compound (a1), a hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acrylate compound (a2) and a polyol compound (a3) and has a weight-average molecular weight of 20,000-120,000; and ethylenically unsaturated monomers (B) [provided that the urethane (meth)acrylate compound (A) is excluded], characterized in that the ethylenically unsaturated monomers (B) comprise a heterocycle-containing monomer (b1) and a hydroxyl group-containing monomer (b2) and the ratio (by weight) of the heterocycle-containing monomer (b1) content to the hydroxyl group-containing monomer (b2) content [(b1):(b2)] is 25:75-80:20.
