<p>The present invention refers to a method and a container (5) for loading a measuring device (21), such as a biological test strip meter, with a measuring means unit (21), such as a biological test strip, as well as a kit (1) comprising of a measuring device (3) and a container (5). The measuring device (3) is at least partially inserted into the container (5) and retrieves within the container (5) one of the measuring device units (21) stored in the container (5), and the measuring device (3) is retracted out of the container (5) together with the retrieved measuring means unit (21). Thereby, a remarkably secure, hygienic and economic loading of the measuring device (3) with a measuring means unit (21) is achieved. Particularly, the method allows to load a test strip to a test strip meter without the user touching the test strip.</p> |
