PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breakage electrode extractor capable of taking out of a furnace a breakage electrode made of carbon, the tip side of which is bent carelessly and dropped in the furnace during operation of an arc furnace, safely in a short time.SOLUTION: A breakage electrode extractor 1 includes an upper structure 2 having a support 6 on the upper surface 3a, a lower outside body 10 supported rotatably in the horizontal direction by the upper structure 2, a lift shaft 16 arranged liftably inside the lower outside body 10, a pair of right and left links L1, L2 upper ends of which are supported rotatably for the lift shaft 16, a tongue 20 consisting of a pair of right and left upper arms 21, 22 having upper ends engaging with the lower ends of the links L1, L2, and presenting a bent side view, a pair of turning parts 23 located in the middle of the upper arms 21, 22 and supported turnably inside the lower outside body 10, and a pair of right and left lower arms 24 extending downward from the lower end side of the upper arms 21, 22, and a pair of right and left protrusions 26 where the lower end of each lower arm 24 of the tongue 20 is protruding to the opposite side face. |
