PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power control system which enables the decrease in the basic charge of an electricity charge decided by an amount of peak power supplied to a user.SOLUTION: An electric power control system comprises: a server; a HEMS controller; and a power conditioner. The server outputs predicted data determined by prediction of a change of power consumption with time of a facility supplied with an electric power based on a past power consumption record. The HEMS controller calculates, based on the predicted data, a sum total of amounts of electric power consumed over an upper limit set value for a time zone in which an electric power supplied to the facility from a system exceeds the upper limit set value. The power conditioner ensures an electric power corresponding to a result of the calculation in a storage battery in advance, and has the storage battery charged by the ensured power storage capacity. If a power consumption of the facility is over the upper limit set value, the power conditioner supplies to the facility with an electric power of the power storage capacity ensured in the storage battery so that an upper limit of an electric power supplied to the facility from a system is up to the upper limit set value. |
