PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finder optical system that comprises an electronic viewfinder using a liquid crystal display element or the like, which has a back focal distance that allows the arrangement of a display element and an eyepiece while enabling a high eye point under high magnification.SOLUTION: In a finder optical system, an eyepiece has, in order from a display element 1 side, a negative first lens group, a positive second lens group, and a negative third lens group and satisfies the following conditional expressions: -2.3<f1/f<-1.5, -1.3<f3/f<-0.9, where, f1 represents a focal length of the negative first lens group, f3 represents a focal length of the negative third lens group, and f represents a focal length of the finder entire system. |
