PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement piston pump in which a time when a swash angle of a swash plate changes from the minimum swash angle to the maximum swash angle, can be adjusted to an optional time.SOLUTION: A variable displacement piston pump 1 includes a swash plate 18 housed in a main housing 6, a control piston 26 for pressurizing the swash plate 18, a spring 22 arranged between the swash plate 18 and a front wall part 6a of the main housing 6 and for energizing the swash plate 18 to the side of the control piston 26, and a spring force adjusting unit 27 for adjusting the energizing force of the spring 22 to the swash plate 18, from the outside of a pump housing 2. The spring force adjusting unit 27 has a flat plate 29 arranged in the main housing 6 and for pressurizing the spring 22 against the swash plate 18, and an adjusting screw 30 threadedly engaging with a screw hole 28 formed in the front wall part 6a. The adjusting screw 30 passes through the screw hole 28 and abuts on the flat plate 29. |
