PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger using an alternative material which is suitable for heat transfer process of an air conditioning system and achieves good cost effect.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 10 for an air conditioning system includes: a first portion 101 having a first passage for flowing a refrigerant and a second passage for flowing water to condense the refrigerant; and a second portion 102 which receives the water from the first portion and is in fluid communication with the first portion to cool the water. The water cooled in the second portion is circulated in order to condense the refrigerant and returned to the first portion. Bodies of the first portion and the second portion are formed by a polymer such as plastic.
