PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress backflow of compressed air to a compressor side after stopping of the compressor without providing an expensive check valve of high-temperature specifications, and to suppress occurrence of trouble caused by the backflow, in an air compression device equipped with a rotation type compressor.SOLUTION: An air compression device (1) includes: a rotation type compressor (21); a delivery side flow passage (11) connected to a delivery side of the compressor (21); a release flow passage (13) capable of being connected with the delivery side flow passage (11) and releasing a part or the whole of compressed air remaining in the delivery side flow passage (11); and an operation control section (41) connecting the delivery side flow passage (11) and the release flow passage (13) so as to perform release operation for releasing a part or the whole of the remaining compressed air when stopping rotation of the compressor (21). |
