PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil supply mechanism for an engine, capable of reducing the driving torque of an oil pump without impairing the normal operation of hydraulic equipment.SOLUTION: A lubricating oil supply mechanism 1 for the engine for supplying lubricating oil stored in an oil pan 2 to the parts of the engine includes a variable displacement oil pump 6 for forcibly feeding the lubricating oil stored in the oil pan 2, a flow control valve 50 for throttling a flow path for the lubricating oil in association with the rise of a hydraulic pressure on the downstream side to control the flow of the lubricating oil, and hydraulic equipment arranged on the upstream side of the flow control valve 50 for operating with the hydraulic pressure of the lubricating oil supplied from the oil pump 6. |
