PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position restoration method for a seismically isolated structure, which method enables positional deviation of the seismically isolated structure to be easily and efficiently restored.SOLUTION: The position restoration method is provided for restoring a position of a seismically isolated structure 4 comprising a seismic isolation pit 1, a seismic isolator 2 installed in the seismic isolation pit 1, and a structure body 3 installed in the seismic isolation pit 1 with the seismic isolator 2 in between and supported by the seismic isolator 2. Buoyancy is exerted on the structural body 3 by water 5 reserved in the seismic isolation pit 1 in which the structural body 3 is positionally deviated, and in this state, external force is loaded in a prescribed direction to the structural body 3 to move the structural body to a prescribed position. |
