PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel including an obscure electrode.SOLUTION: A touch panel includes a transparent substrate, a plurality of X-direction electrodes, a plurality of Y-direction electrodes, an X-direction connection section, a Y-direction connection section, an insulator film, an X-direction mesh electrode, and a Y-direction mesh electrode. When at least an area where the X-direction connection section is formed includes a part where no insulator film is formed, an X-direction connection mesh electrode is also included. The X-direction electrodes, the Y-direction electrodes, and the X-direction connection section are formed in the same layer, to form a film of a transparent conductive material. The Y-direction connection section has a mesh shape formed of a conductive material so as to form a part of the mesh pattern. The X-direction mesh electrode, the Y-direction mesh electrode, and the X-direction connection mesh electrode are formed of a conductive material so that a mesh pattern is formed on substantially the whole of the surface. |
