A feeler for a key-cutting machine comprises a central tapered portion 2 to contact a pattern 24 and end portions 4, 5 to support the feeler for tilting movement. The end portions have segmental projections 7 engaging rectangular openings in caps 9 to limit the angular movement of the feeler. The feeler is spring-biased to the position of Fig. 2 and the key to be copied is traversed past the feeler which is mounted on the rigid support 6. The key is positioned initially by a face 27 abutting the feeler. |
