<p>Abstract A crane to lift loads with a crane jib and with a sun and/or weather protection device that is so constructed that with the aid of the crane jib the weather protection device can be held in a position in which the sun and/or weather protection device provides shade for a specified area, wherein the sun and/or weather protection device comprises at least one flat element that is so constructed that it offers sun and/or weather protection for the specified area, and a fastening device that is constructed to be attached on the crane jib in such a manner that the or each flat element is held on the crane jib in a specified position to provide shade for the specified area, wherein the fastening device comprises a suspension that can be fastened on a lifting hook of the crane, wherein the suspension comprises a plurality of elongate load mounting elements which are joined at one end with the flat element and at the other end suspended on the lifting hook, and wherein a central suspension comprising a lower and upper central suspension part is provided, the lower and upper central suspension parts of which are joined with one another rotatably about a longitudinal axis of the central suspension. 5 -- 35 b 25 40#</p> |
