PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glass that is used in wavelength conversion material comprising inorganic phosphor and makes it possible to prepare a wavelength conversion member that prevents the properties of the inorganic phosphor from deteriorating due to firing in production and also has excellent mechanical strength and weather resistance.SOLUTION: The present invention provides glass used for wavelength conversion material, the glass comprising, by mass%, SiO35-70%, BO0-30%, AlO0.1-15%, LiO 0-10%, NaO 0-15%, KO 0-15%, LiO+NaO+KO 0.1-15%, MgO+CaO+SrO 0.1-25% and ZnO 0-15%, and having a softening point less than 700°C. |
