PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable temperature control and heat recycle of a solid-state oxide fuel cell (SOFC) for an underwater sailing vehicle using a stirling engine, and reduction of the parasitic loss from a cathode blower, thereby enhancing the system efficiency.SOLUTION: An underwater sailing vehicle contains SOFC 202, a high-temperature box 201 surrounding SOFC 202, a cooling loop 212 and a stirling engine 222. The stirling engine 222 has a first end portion (high-temperature end 224) which is thermally coupled to the inside of the high-temperature box 201, and a second end portion (low-temperature end 226) which is thermally coupled to the cooling loop 212. A cooling agent pump 216 changes the elimination factor of heat from the second end portion of the stirling engine 222 on the basis of a pump control signal. A temperature managing controller 228 monitors the temperature of a cathode exit 206 of SOFC, and changes the pump control signal so that the temperature of the cathode exit is kept within a predetermined temperature range. |
