A fire-extinguishing product (1) for preventive fire protection contains a fire-extinguishing element (3) which is affixed to the surface of a bearing element (2) and which contains a reactive microencapsulated fire-extinguishing agent (3a) in a polymer matrix (3b); the fire-extinguishing product is detachable and has a spatial configuration which allows the largest area of the surface of the fire-extinguishing element (3) to be located in a zone to be protected (A) or adjacent thereto when said element is positioned in a space to be protected, wherein the reactive microencapsulated fire-extinguishing agent (3a) of the fire-extinguishing element contains, located in microcapsules within a spherical polymer casing, a core made of a fire-extinguishing liquid selected from a group which includes: tetrafluoro dibromoethane, dibromoethane, tribromoethane, perfluoroethyl perfluoro isopropyl ketone, and mixtures thereof, wherein the total amount of fire-extinguishing liquid in the fire-extinguishing element microcapsules provides for a concentration of 4.5-5.0 percent by volume of the gasification products thereof within the volume of the zone being protected. The fire-extinguishing product (1) can be carried out with various variants of the shape thereof, of the means by which same is affixed in a space to be protected, and of the fire-extinguishing efficacy thereof, with fire-extinguishing and bearing elements of the various variants involving different designs, materials and shapes. |
