An apparatus (100) for cutting a stem (202) to generate beads (204) is provided. The apparatus (100) includes a base member (102) having a stem guide (110) formed on a top surface (108) of the base member (102), a cutting chamber (104) positioned on the top surface (108) of the base member (102), wherein the cutting chamber (104) includes a cutting member for cutting the stem (202), and the cutting chamber (104) includes a back end opening for sliding there through the stem and front end opening for dispensing the generated beads (204), measurement markings (110c) positioned along a length side of the stem guide (110), and an actuation member (106) coupled the cutting member, thereby enabling the cutting member to cut the stem (202) when actuated by a user. |
