PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide medicines or agricultural chemicals useful for the treatment and/or prevention of infection caused by plus strand RNA virus, by inhibiting the replication of the plus strand RNA virus having SF1 helicase.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a plus strand RNA virus replication inhibitor containing a compound having an ATPase inhibitory activity which SF1 helicase has, or a salt thereof, or a solvate thereof, or a hydrate thereof, as an active ingredient; and medicines or agricultural chemicals containing the inhibitor as an active ingredient for the treatment of infection caused by the plus strand RNA virus. The invention also relates to therapeutic methods for the infection caused by the plus strand RNA virus using the medicines or agricultural chemicals.
