Provided is a text processing system capable of classifying a plurality of texts into groups providing an overview, and classifying texts that have semantic implicational relations into the same group even if it is not determined that the texts do not have implicational relations. An implication recognition means (71) performs text-to-text implication recognition on a given text. A group generation means (72) selects an individual text, and generates a group having texts that imply the selected text as members. A group integration means (73) integrates groups if a predetermined condition based on a degree of overlap of the members of the groups is satisfied.
