[Problem] To fix a shell-integrated fixed scroll in an axial direction to maintain good dimensional accuracy. [Solution] A shell-integrated fixed scroll (28) of a scroll type compressor (10) is provided with a tubular center housing (22) (shell) integrally formed with an end plate (12a) on which a scroll wrap (12b) is uprightly disposed, with a proximal portion of the center housing (22) being connected with an entire outer circumference of the end plate (12a), and a distal portion of the center housing (22) extending in an axial direction. A partial wall of the shell forms a thick wall portion (84) formed thickly from a proximal end surface (22a) to a distal end surface (22b). In the thick wall portion, a threaded hole (22c) for a bolt (30) for fastening a rear housing (24) to the end surface (22a) is extended from the end surface (22a) toward the end surface (22b), and a threaded hole (22d) for a bolt (40) for fastening a front housing (26) to the end surface (22b) is extended from the end surface (22b) toward the end surface (22a). Between the end surfaces (22a, 22b), a part of the thick wall portion (84) is notched in a circumferential direction of the shell to form opposed surfaces (86) facing each other in the axial direction, so that a locking member can be locked on the opposed surfaces to apply a load in the axial direction. |
