CASCADE PHOTOCONVERTER WITH QUANTUM-SIZED STRUCTURES
摘要
The invention relates to semiconductor photo-converters (solar cells) which convert the energy of photons of light into electricity, and can be used in the semiconductor industry for creating systems for generating electrical energy. The essence of the proposed invention consists in increasing the photocurrent of two sub-cells by means of using active semiconductor layers consisting of regions having various thicknesses and concentrations of indium atoms. The technical result of the present solution consists in creating a cascade photoconverter which allows for simultaneously expanding the spectral range of photosensitivity and for improving the efficiency thereof.
