The present invention relates to a method for promoting sumoylation of SLY1 (Sleepy1) proteins of a plant capable of overexpressing an AtSIZ1 gene by transforming a recombinant vector including a gene for encoding an AtSIZ1 protein derived from Arabidopsis thaliana, a method for manufacturing a transgenic plant wherein sumoylation of SLY1 proteins is promoted thereby, a transgenic plant manufactured by the manufacturing method, and a composition for promoting sumoylation of SLY1 (Sleepy1) proteins of a seed of the plant and a plant containing the recombinant vector as an active ingredient.
