The invention relates to a method and a device for a photochemical process, particularly for the breeding and production or hydrocultivation of microorganisms. A reaction medium (8) is guided meanderwise in a reactor element (2) formed of at least two connected upright chambers (4). A plurality of reactor elements (2) are connected serially to form a solar bioreactor, and the hydrostatic pressure and level compensation in the solar bioreactor generate a reaction medium flow that is stress-free for the microorganisms. Adjuvants (20), such as air, oxygen or CO2, are introduced during the process, at the bottom end of the liquid column. The adjuvants (20) are introduced via at least one distributor line (21) with a delivery element (22), with at least one delivery element (22) of the distributor line (21) being assigned to each chamber (4) of the reactor element (2). At pre-settable time intervals a cleaning process is performed to remove deposits on the delivery element (22). |
