PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel of an OLED display, addressing issues associated with the use of amorphous silicon TFTs that are appropriate for use in large screen displays.SOLUTION: A pixel includes: a substrate; an n-channel transistor 14 formed on the substrate; and an OLED formed on the substrate. The transistor 14 includes a gate 50, a source 62 and a drain 64. The OLED includes: an anode 80; an emissive layer 84 formed on the anode 80; and a cathode 86 formed on the emissive layer 84. The cathode 86 is electrically connected to the drain 64 of the transistor 14. |
