PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, an information processing apparatus, a communication apparatus, a communication method, a computer program, and a storage medium with the computer program stored therein, which are configured to perform selection of data that should be transmitted and selection of a transmission destination, and are also configured to determine a transmission of the selected data or a transmission of copied data of the selected data only by allowing the communication apparatus as the transmission destination to be contacted with an image on a display part.SOLUTION: A communication system includes: a digital composite machine 100 storing data; and a memory device 200 to perform data communication with the digital composite machine 100. The digital composite machine 100 displays one or a plurality of files icons indicating the data stored therein on a display part 9. Upon detection of a contact of the memory device 200 and a contact of a display surface of the display part 9, the digital composite machine 100 establishes communication with the memory device 200 related to the detected contact, and transmits data corresponding to a file icon related to the position of the contact, or copied data of the data to the memory device 200. |
