This transmission start time correction method for a WDM/TDM-PON system is provided with: a completion instruction procedure in which a station-side subscriber storage device instructs so as to include, in a downlink signal instructing a subscriber device to switch wavelengths, a transmission start time for an uplink signal to be transmitted by the subscriber device after switching wavelengths, and indicating completion of the wavelength switch by the subscriber device; an instruction completion transmission procedure in which the subscriber device transmits the uplink signal indicating completion of the wavelength switch at the instructed transmission start time on the post-switch wavelength, after completing the wavelength switch according to the instruction; and a transmission start time correction procedure in which the station-side subscriber storage device measures the reception time at which the uplink signal indicating completion of the wavelength switch was received after the wavelength switch, and sets, as a new transmission start time, a time obtained by adding an interval, which is double the time difference between the pre-wavelength-switch anticipated reception time of the uplink signal indicating wavelength switch completion and the reception time at which the uplink signal indicating wavelength switch completion was received after switching wavelengths, to the transmission start time for the uplink signal prior to the wavelength switch. |
