PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide anti-CD19 antibodies with reduced immunogenicity, and methods of using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided an anti-CD19 B4 antibody, which is less immunogenic than non-modified B4 antibody when administered to a human, but is still competent to specifically bind CD19 and to target cells expressing CD19, the antibody having specific modified variable regions. A method of using the antibody is also provided. Further provided is the use of pharmaceutical compositions containing such antibodies for producing drugs for the treatment of cancer or autoimmune diseases. |
