Provided are a called speech paging method and apparatus, and a mobility management entity, which relate to the field of speech services. The method comprises: using a first indication cell in a request message to set a flag bit used for indicating whether a TMSI in a user equipment is valid; using a second indication cell in a location update response message to set the flag bit, wherein the value of the second indication cell is the TMSI or an IMSI; and when the TMSI is used for paging and the flag bit indicates that the TMSI in the user equipment is invalid, using the IMSI to perform paging. In the present invention, by setting a flag bit in an MME, when a TMSI is used for paging and the flag bit indicates that the TMSI in a user equipment is invalid, the IMSI is used to perform paging, thereby solving the problem of a failed called speech service caused when the MME uses an S-TMSI to initiate paging, if the TMSI in a UE is invalid, and achieving the effect of being capable of improving a called speech success rate. |
