Disclosed is a method for providing an advertisement-attached e-book comprising: transmitting an e-book to an e-book providing server; recognizing the locations in the illustration or video of the e-book to which an advertisement is to be attached; receiving of the e-book providing server a request for providing the e-book; and generating an advertisement-attached e-book by attaching the advertisement to the locations of advertisement attachment. Also disclosed is an apparatus for providing an advertisement-attached e-book comprising: an e-book storing unit; a video extracting unit; an illustration extracting unit; a metadata generating unit; an advertisement storing unit; an advertisement costs ranking memorizing unit; an advertisement converting unit; and an advertisement-attached e-book generating unit. |
