Provided is a content management system and an external content server for smart devices. The content management system comprises: an external content server that has an extendable memory unit that are two or more flash memory cards each of which is mounted in each of two or more slots and a near field communication modem embedded inside; a first smart device that executes an application that provides the external content server with a user interface, thereby wirelessly accessing the external content server, in order to execute any one event among content storing, content managing and content viewing; and a second smart device which as an application providing a user interface to the external content server, executes the application to wirelessly access the external content server independently of the first smart device, and to execute an event including the content viewing, wherein the external content server does not have a graphical user interface while the first and second smart devices are capable of accessing an identical piece of content at the same time to execute an event by wirelessly communicating with the external content server. |
