PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice monitoring system capable of changing the length of use of recorded voices which is used as a comparison object depending on the type of the recorded voices to prevent degradation in voice recognition accuracy when performing matching determination.SOLUTION: The voice monitoring system includes: a sound acquisition section that acquires voices; a recording section that stores the voices acquired by the sound acquisition section; a matching determination section that determines whether an input voice acquired by the sound acquisition section matches with the recorded voice stored in the sound acquisition section; and a notification section that notifies a predetermined information when the matching determination section determines the input voice matches with the recorded voice. The length of use of the recorded voice data used for matching determination between the input voice and the recorded voice is changed depending on the type of recorded voice.
