PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface device capable of starting different functions according to a degree of pressing force.SOLUTION: A user interface device includes: a contact position detection part for detecting the contact position of the finger on an operation surface; a pressing force detection part for detecting a pressing force to be applied by the finger which has contacted the operation surface; and function control means for, when the detected pressing force does not have a scale satisfying a predetermined condition, starting a predetermined function associated with the detected contact position, and for, when the detected pressing force has the scale satisfying the predetermined condition, starting a function associated with the detected contact position, which is different from the predetermined function, and for giving a tactile response to the finger which has contacted the operation surface. |
