PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag of which an internal pressure of an air bag main body part can be adequately set by adequately adjusting opening/closing of a vent hole.SOLUTION: A vent hole 41 communicating with an air chamber 21 is opened on an air bag main body part 22. A cover 42 is arranged on the vent hole 41 on an outer side of the air chamber 21 of the air bag main body part 22. One end side of a tether 43 is connected to the cover 42 through the vent hole 41, and the other end side of the tether 43 is connected to the air bag main body part 22. When the tether 43 is not pulled by the air bag main body part 22, the vent hole 41 is securely opened and gas can be discharged outside. When the tether 43 is pulled by the deployed air bag main body part 22, a part of the cover 42 is drawn into the vent hole 41 and the cover 42 is securely adhered to an edge part of the vent hole 41 to securely close the vent hole 41. |
