The present invention addresses the problem of providing an ultrasonic probe with which a puncture needle can easily and reliably puncture a subject's skin. In a probe main body (12) of an ultrasonic probe (3), a positioning recess (30) is provided on the extension (L0) of an ultrasonic transducer row (25) and on an end edge portion (20a) of a transducer mounting surface (20). On a side surface (22), a plurality of probe side engagement parts (28) which can secure a puncture guide attachment (14) is provided. On a puncture needle guide part (34) of the attachment (14), a guide groove (33) is provided in which are formed an opening (41) into which the puncture needle is guided and a bottom portion (42) to which the puncture needle abuts. A clamping part (36) of the attachment (14) is provided with a plurality of arms (35) in which a plurality of attachment side engagement parts (37) is formed. The insertion angle of the puncture needle can be adjusted in multi-steps by changing the position of the bottom portion (42) by changing the engagement position of the attachment side engagement parts (37).
