PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information supply system and method that can supply an external with information regarding a user terminal and a television receiver which are connected to each other to the outside.SOLUTION: An information supply system has a television receiver, a user terminal and a connection state managing server that can be connected to one another through a network. The user terminal can execute a program for connection to the television receiver. The connection state managing server achieves connection state information containing an identifier of the television receiver and an identifier of the user terminal through the network from one of the television receiver and the user terminal connected to each other. The connection state managing server digitalizes association degree representing the degree of the association between the mutually connected television receiver and user terminal on the basis of the achieved connection state information. In response to a request from the outside, the connection state managing server supplies the digitalized degree of association to the requester.
