PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate opening/closing facility which maintains a state where a sprocket and a pin rack are engaged, for a gate which is horizontally moved while rising.SOLUTION: A gate opening/closing facility 10 including a pin rack 13 which includes a plurality of pins 11 and fixed to a gate 12 while being arranged horizontally; and a driving device 16 for horizontally moving the rising gate 12 by rotating a sprocket 15 including a plurality of teeth 14 which are engaged with the plurality of pins 11. The sprocket 15 is provided so as to be rotatable around a vertical shaft 26, and the plurality of teeth 14 protrude horizontally toward a radial outside of the sprocket 15. The pin rack 13 rises with a rising width H together with the gate 12 and in an engagement area where the plurality of pins 11 are disposed vertically, respectively, and the teeth 14 are engaged with the plurality of pins 11, at least a length of the rising width H is secured lower than the teeth 14 engaged with the pins 11 in a state where the gate 12 is disposed at a lowest position. |
