This lane detection device is installed in a vehicle equipped with multiple vehicle-mounted cameras and detects lanes by image analysis. The lane detection device is equipped with: a side detection unit (101) which detects lane division lines located on the sides on the basis of images obtained by vehicle-mounted side cameras (10L, 10R); a frontward detection unit (102) which detects lane division lines located ahead on the basis of an image obtained by an vehicle-mounted front camera (11F); a travelling speed detection unit (104); a position correction unit (105) which corrects the positions of the lane division lines located ahead; a comparison unit (109) which compares the positions of the lane division lines located on the sides with the corrected positions of the lane division lines located ahead; and an output unit (110) which outputs the positions of the lane division lines located on the sides as a lane detection result. |
