PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transmit power to a vehicle.SOLUTION: A power transmission device 210 has one set of first paired electrodes 211 and 212 disposed at a predetermined distance, and whose total width including the predetermined distance has length λ/2&pgr; or less which is a near field; supplying means for supplying an alternating-current power to the first paired electrodes; and first inductors 213 and 214 inserted between the supplying means and at least one of the first paired electrodes. A power receiving device 220 has one set of second paired electrodes 221 and 222 disposed at a predetermined distance, and whole total width including the predetermined distance has length λ/2&pgr; or less which is a near field; output means for outputting an alternating-current power from the second paired electrodes to a load provided on a vehicle; and second inductors 223 and 224 inserted between the output means and at least one of the second paired electrodes. The power transmission device transmits the alternating-current power to the power receiving portion through a non-conductive member (a front plate 201a) provided at a part of a side surface of a vehicle. |
