PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive method that makes it possible to produce solid matter that can highly hold C3-C5 fatty acid without spoiling the flavor of it.SOLUTION: A method of producing solid matter comprising C3-C5 fatty acid is characterized in that C3-C5 fatty acid aqueous solution is adjusted to 5 or more in pH and then dried.
