A web page display method and apparatus, the method comprising: determining that there is a second web page associated with a currently displayed first web page (S20), the first web page having a first source code, and the second web page having a second source code; creating a frame of the second web page within the first web page; adding a clicking simulation script to the first source code of the first web page so as to generate a new web page source code, wherein the clicking simulation script is used for simulating reception by the first web page of a clicking event, the clicking event being used for acquiring the second source code of the second web page; adding the new web page source code to the frame of the second web page; parsing the new web page source code, and executing the clicking simulation script to acquire the second source code of the second web page; and displaying the second web page in the frame of the second web page according to the second source code of the second web page. The present disclosure solves the technical problem that a web page not containing a plaintext URL cannot normally enter reading mode. |
