A cleaning unit (100) is provided with: a dust collection body (1) to which dust adheres and which transports the dust; a drive device which drives the dust collection body (1); a first removal mechanism (4) which removes the dust adhering to the dust collection body (1); a collection section (5) which collects the dust removed by the first removal mechanism (4); and a dust introduction member (20) which is provided so as to close the opening (51) of the collection section (5) and which rotates together with the dust collection body (1) to conduct the dust into the collection section (5). The dust introduction member (20) is disposed so that, at a place (A) where the first removal mechanism (4) is removing dust from the dust collection body (1), an elastically deformable section (22) can elastically deform and scrape off the dust present at the place (A).
