The present invention relates to a device for cutting a rail for mounting an element for electrical and electronic communications comprising: a base (110); a mounting plate (120) which is erectly installed on the base (110) and in which a first inserting slit (121) is formed; a rotary shaft (151) and a guide shaft (152) installed in the mounting plate (120) spaced apart in the front and rear directions; an operating member (130) in which a second inserting slit (131) is formed and a guiding elongated hole (132b) is formed to be penetrating and which rotates in contact with the right face (120a) of the mounting plate (120); a lever shaft (153) fixedly installed in the mounting plate (120); and a lever (140) of which a head part (141) is installed in the lever shaft (153) such that the lever rotates by the lever shaft (153) as a rotary shaft and the outer circumferential faces (Sa, Sb) of the head part (141) are in close contact with the rear side of the top surface (130c) of the operating member (130) and which applies rotational force on the rear side of the top surface (130c) of the operating member (130) when a force pushing downward is applied on a grip part (142), which has an advantage of not generating noise and dust and of smoothly cutting the cutting surfaces. |
